Ever since I started teaching at the primary school level, I have been passionate in my commitment to three things: maximizing individual student performance, inspiring students’ interest in technology and instilling a sense of self-worth among all students. I have dedicated my career to each of these pursuits.
My qualifications include 4 years and 4 months of teaching experience and BA (English) degree in education. Presently, I am an Assistant Teacher (Secondary section) at Akshar International School, Bhiloda.
Little Flower School is a pre-primary school. The school was established in 2003. After completion of my honours exam in 2012, I joined this school out of my love for kids. I believe that teaching kids is far more difficult than teaching higher class. Responsibilities were huge-even more than what I have now. Since the kids were of age group two and half years to four years, I knew that at this tender age, I need to care for them very much. I was the class teacher and I had several duties in the school. The safety of the children was my primary concern. I served the school till September 2014, before I ;t the job at St. Paul’s Academy.
St. Paul's Academy is owned and managed by Devki Nandan Foundation which is a registered body. St. Paul's Academy is an ICSE / ISC School, affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi, which has received statutory recognition from the ;vernment of India as one of the main All India School Examination bodies. As an assistant teacher for St. Paul’s Academy, Burdwan, I was the class teacher of 4th grade curriculum. For more than 1 years, I provided effective classroom management, creative lesson plans, detailed student evaluations and highly praised instructional delivery. As an enthusiastic volunteer, I started the Bulletin Board of the school, an innovative program that covered diverse topics -- from Internet security best practices to Cancer Awareness. The program became so popular that the students now make posters every week on certain topics.
Akshar International School is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education. Here I joined as English and Social Science teacher of 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th standard and the class teacher of 9th standard. I happen to be the English language moderator of Assessment of Speaking and Listening (ASL) and Institute for Scholastic Evaluation (IFSE). As an enthusiastic volunteer, I organized celebration of Literacy Day (“Literacy Day: Hum Banenge Kalam – Sapne Jo Sone Na Dein”) in association with Kalam Library.
Although I am enjoying my tenure at Akshar International School, I want to ; abroad and join some reputed school.
