Candidates About

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a native English speaker from the UK with two years classroom experience, teaching young learners and adults in England and Ho Chi Minh City. I am now residing in Hanoi and looking for a challenging, new full time position with your company.  I hold a BA degree and a 120 hour TEFL certificate which I feel satisfy the requirements for a teaching position.

Whilst working in Vietnam, I have gained experience teaching English, Math and Science at primary level in public schools. This has allowed me to gain valuable insight into working with children of differing levels, ages and backgrounds. From this experience, I have developed an interactive and creative teaching style, which suits this age group well. I thrive off delivering well structured, engaging lessons that offer a variety of communicative approaches to satisfy each student’s academic needs.

I am a dedicated and passionate teacher, who is able to adapt efficiently. I understand the importance of advocating an enthusiastic and committed attitude, which can hopefully encourage students to reach their full potential. I have experience of managing large classes successfully and have taken on many responsibilities within the schools. I strongly believe that these skills will be greatly beneficial for future students and your company.

Please find my CV attached for consideration with the relevant contact details. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

 Kind regards,

Jessie Tuohy

Outside of my working, I play Netball for a local women’s team, competing in tournaments. I also practice yoga and keep fit by riding my bike. I love socialising and meeting new people, and look forward to discovering and learning about a new culture. I have a real passion in helping others and volunteering for local charities in the community.
