Candidates About

am very friendly and outgoing and love working with and helping people. I have a friendly and positive approach to my work and colleagues, and enjoy challenging situations and problem solving. I am kind, supportive and empathetic.I have enjoyed teaching a lot more than I first expected and although it is very challenging sometimes, it is very fun and rewarding. I am incredibly lucky to have had this experience. I am in enrolling in distance learning with the Open University so that I can continue to develop this career. I may require some support from the school if my enrollment is successful.I have learned some Vietnamese while living here. This has been incredibly useful for building relationships with my colleagues, students and friends while living in Vietnam. I has also given me a deeper appreciation for the difficulties of learning a second language. I am currently learning Italian as I would like to move there after my time in Vietnam. In my free time, I love learning new skills. I have recently started boxing lessons and while very challenging, it’s also very physically and mentally rewarding. I also love cycling, going to the gym, reading, meditating and DIY.In 2013, I cycled solo from Land’s End at the most southern point of England to John O’ Groats, the northern tip of Scotland. The journey took me through Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland. It was very challenging but extremely rewarding. In addition to completing the cycle in 12 days, I also managed to raise over £1000 for the charity Alzheimer Scotland.
